About this experience
4×4 rental with route setup - for anyone with a valid driving licence who wants to explore the mountains around Tirana on their own.
You come to our base in Zall-Herr, we hand over the vehicle, a route brief, and a printed map, and you drive. No guide, no chase vehicle, no group.
We offer four fixed routes, each with a GPX file, printed map, and a written brief before you head out - the same four routes as our enduro self-drive tour (Bovilla, Çerkezë, Qafështamë, Qafështamë + Kruja). Before you leave, we walk you through the route on the map, mark the key waypoints, answer your questions, and make sure you're set up.
Then you're on your own - no support vehicle, no guide following behind. Drive at your own pace, take breaks where you want, and come back when you're ready.
Good pick if you want to explore some of the best terrain near Tirana on your own schedule - the lakes, the mountain passes, the historic town - without a group holding you up. Requirements: valid driving licence, minimum age 21.
Up to four people per vehicle including the driver. Drivers must sign a liability waiver before departure.
Pricing is per vehicle, not per person - good value if you're travelling as a group of three or four.

Before departure
- Pickup time is arranged at booking based on route and season.
- A €400 deposit is collected at base and refunded on return if there is no damage.
- Third-party liability insurance covers damage to others, but damage to our vehicle is the driver's responsibility.
- Up to four people per vehicle including the driver.
- All drivers sign a rental agreement and liability waiver before departure.
