A full-day mountain and cultural tour by 4×4 - from our base to Qafështamë Nature Park and the historic town of Kruja.
About this experience
Our biggest guided 4×4 tour, and the one for people who want a full day out - two proper destinations, one vehicle, one driver, from morning to late afternoon.
We start with the same route as our Qafështamë safari - off-road from Zall-Herr through the mountain tracks to Bovilla, then up through the ridge and forest tracks to the Qafështamë Nature Park pass. Time to walk in the pine forest, visit the Queen Mother spring, take photos in the cool alpine air.
Then instead of turning back, we continue over the pass and down the mountain road to Kruja - the historic hometown of Skanderbeg, Albania's national hero. At Kruja, you'll have time to explore the old bazaar, one of the country's most atmospheric traditional markets, and visit the castle where Skanderbeg led the resistance against the Ottomans.
Plenty of options for lunch at the local restaurants around the bazaar. When you're ready, we drive back to base on the scenic asphalt roads, through the countryside rather than the highway.
A full-day tour from arrival to departure. Each 4×4 fits up to three passengers plus the driver, no age minimum for passengers.
Lunch, castle entrance, and any purchases at Kruja are not included.

- Payment is made after booking by payment link, or at our base in cash or by card before the tour starts.
- Pricing is per vehicle, not per person.
- Free cancellation on any pre-paid amount up to 24 hours before start time.
- If we cancel due to unsafe weather, we offer a new date or cancel with no charge.
