1. Agreement
These terms apply to ATV Tirana guided quad tours, guided 4x4 safaris, self-guided bike and e-bike routes, enduro self-drive routes, 4x4 self-drive routes, camping gear rental, transfers, add-ons, and related services. By booking, paying, attending, signing a waiver, or using our equipment, you agree to these terms.
2. Bookings and confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only when ATV Tirana accepts it by email, message, phone, booking platform, or written confirmation.
- You must provide accurate contact details, group size, age, licence, and suitability information for all participants.
- We may refuse or cancel a booking if information is missing, inaccurate, unsafe, or if a participant does not meet the product requirements.
- Route times, durations, stops, and itineraries are estimates and can change because of weather, road conditions, daylight, traffic, guest ability, safety, or local restrictions.
3. Prices, payment, and deposits
- No upfront payment is required to submit a booking through this website unless we state otherwise for a specific booking channel or partner.
- After booking, you can pay online through a payment link we send manually, or at the base in cash or by card.
- Prices are shown in euros unless stated otherwise. Currency conversion, bank charges, card fees, and platform fees are your responsibility unless required otherwise by law.
- Enduro self-drive and 4x4 self-drive require a EUR 400 deposit collected at the base by cash or card.
- Camping gear rental requires a EUR 100 deposit collected at pickup.
- Deposits are refunded when the vehicle or gear is returned on time, clean where applicable, with no loss, damage, misuse, missing parts, or extra charges.
4. Cancellation, refunds, and changes
Our cancellation and refund rules are set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy. In summary, any pre-paid amount is refundable if you cancel at least 24 hours before the tour, start, or pickup time. Cancellations inside 24 hours are non-refundable. Changes inside 24 hours cannot be guaranteed.
5. Weather and operational changes
Adventure activities depend on weather, daylight, road conditions, vehicle condition, and safety judgment. If we cancel because conditions are unsafe, we will offer a new date or cancel with no charge. We may adapt routes, stop locations, pace, vehicles, or timing when needed for safety or operations.
6. Age, licence, and eligibility
- Guided quad drivers must be 18+ and hold a valid car driving licence. Guests without a valid licence ride as passengers only. Provisional licences are not accepted.
- Quad passengers must meet the minimum age stated for the product and be able to sit safely, follow instructions, and wear the provided helmet.
- Self-guided bike and e-bike riders must be 18+, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian who also books a bike.
- Enduro self-drive riders must be 21+, hold a valid motorcycle licence, and have suitable riding experience.
- 4x4 self-drive drivers must be 21+ and hold a valid car driving licence.
- Guided 4x4 safari passengers do not need a licence.
- We may inspect ID and licence documents at the base. If a required document is missing or invalid, the participant cannot drive and no refund is due for late disclosure.
7. Safety rules
All guests must follow our Safety Guidelines, guide instructions, route briefings, local laws, and posted rules. Helmets and required safety equipment must be worn as instructed. Alcohol, drugs, reckless riding, racing, aggressive driving, ignoring instructions, leaving the route, or endangering others can result in removal from the activity with no refund.
8. Waivers and rental agreements
All participants must sign a liability waiver before the activity starts. Self-drive and rental customers must also sign the relevant rental agreement and vehicle or gear condition report. If you refuse to sign required documents, you cannot participate and no refund is due if the requirement was disclosed before arrival.
9. Health, fitness, and suitability
You are responsible for choosing an activity suitable for your health, fitness, experience, and confidence. Off-road routes involve bumps, dust, mud, vibration, slopes, water, heat, cold, traffic, and changing terrain. Activities may not be suitable for pregnant guests, guests with serious back, neck, heart, mobility, recent surgery, or similar medical conditions, or anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Ask us before booking if you are unsure.
10. Damage, loss, fuel, and late return
Self-drive vehicles, bikes, e-bikes, helmets, locks, maps, GPS units, camping gear, and other equipment remain ATV Tirana property. You are responsible for loss, damage, misuse, off-route use, missing parts, abnormal cleaning, late return, traffic penalties, fuel used, recovery costs, and damage above the deposit amount where applicable. 11. Guest property
You are responsible for your own phones, cameras, bags, documents, clothing, and valuables. We are not responsible for personal items that are lost, stolen, dropped, damaged by dust or water, or left in vehicles, at stops, or at the base, except where required by law.
12. Photos, video, and reviews
We may take photos or videos during tours for operational, safety, or marketing purposes. We will not use close-up guest images for marketing where you object or where separate consent is required. If you send us photos, tag us, or give us a review, you allow us to repost or quote it unless you tell us not to.
13. Insurance and risk
Off-road adventure activities involve inherent risk. Third-party vehicle insurance may not cover damage to ATV Tirana vehicles, guest injuries, personal accident costs, medical evacuation, personal belongings, or all off-road incidents. Guests should have travel insurance that covers adventure activities, off-road riding, self-drive rentals, medical treatment, cancellation, and personal belongings.
14. Website use
Website content is provided for general information. We try to keep prices, availability, route descriptions, and requirements accurate, but errors can happen and details may change. Do not copy, scrape, misuse, attack, or interfere with the website or its content.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited. To the maximum extent allowed by law, ATV Tirana is not liable for indirect losses, missed travel connections, lost enjoyment, weather disruption, route changes, third-party services, guest misconduct, or losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by guests.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Albania, unless mandatory consumer law gives you additional rights that cannot be excluded. We will first try to resolve disputes directly and fairly.
